Expertise

Since 1998, CARI has been working alongside people living in arid areas, especially in Africa. It implements agricultural development projects aspiring to food security for people by using methods combining environment and profitability. Today, eight Sahelian and Maghrebian countries are directly concerned by CARIs activities.

REINFORCEMENT OF ACTOR CAPACITIES

CARI would like not to replace local skills. It is through accompaniment and co-operation that the capacities of local associations are reinforced and that populations acquire the means of their own development.

INTERNATIONAL ADVOCATING

CARI and its networks act directly within the decision-making process to change the national and international policies of development.
